Joulun paras joululahja / Best Christmas gift

Marme Laadidaadi loytyi potkottelemasta pehmoisesta petista, jonka isompi neiti oli tonttuselle pedannut suurin toivein etta han sinne pujahtaa oisen Korvatunturin reissun jalkeen. Ja siellahan se Marme oli vallyjen valissa. :)
Tanaan saan parhaimman joululahjan etukateen. Aitini tulee meille puoleksitoista kuukaudeksi. Tytot odottaa Momia ja mina aitia. On siita jo yhdeksan kuukautta kun viimeeksi nahtiin (melkein paivittaisia Skype keskusteluja ei lasketa). Ihanaa etta han tulee viettamaan taas joulua meidan kanssa.
Eilinen meni pitkalti aidin oman tilan laittamissa.
Katseltiin myoskin pikkuruisen tikan touhuja. Se oli loytanyt monta matoa meidan terrassilta ja mutusteli niita hyvin tikkamaiseen tapaan nakuttamalla. (Ja minulla ihan vaara linssi kamerassa.)

Miss Marme Laadidaadi was found having a lie in in a soft bed that Big Miss had prepared for her in high hopes for Marme to find it and rest after her nighty visit to Korvatunturi. And that's exactly where she was in between the blankets. :)
Today I will get the best Christmas present early. My mother is coming to visit us for 1,5 months. The girls are waiting for Momi and I for my mother. It's been 9 months since we last saw her (we're not counting nearly daily Skype conversations). It's wonderful that she's coming to be with us for Christmas.
Yesterday was mostly spent by making my mum's space ready. We had to fix the bed a bit as the slats supporting the mattress were about to fall if the mattress moved even a little bit. Our "penthouse" guest room is ready to receive its first occupants. (Now I just need to get the other side of that penthouse space unpacked and organised for my sewing/craft space and office.)
I was also following a little wood pecker. It had found several worms on our patio and was eating them in very wood pecker like style pecking at them. (And I had completely wrong lens on the camera for taking pictures of his antics.)
